NEW BOARD POSITION

At the 2011 conference, the body voted and passed the motion to establish a board position for a member with a Deaf parent or with Deaf parents. Congratulations on its passing into a Motion to be voted upon at the next national conference. 

Motion "E"

'Move that the Board of Directors charge the Bylaws Committee, in consultation with the leadership of the IDP Member Section, to develop bylaws amendments that establish a position on the Board of Directors to represent RID members who were raised bhy a Deaf parent or Deaf parents, together with appropriate qualifications and duties for this position.'
